Installed some Bluewtaters today. Front/back decks, under dash, step and both livewells. I think I am really going to like these for night fishing.

They are alot brighter in the pics, hopefully the blue will make it easier for the eyes to adjust on the water.

They are going to be bright. I used mine a couple of weeks ago, I will be installing a dimmer switch.

Defintely need a dimmer. I had some on my last boat but I couldn't fish with them on...couldn't see out of the boat. I mostly used them when I was trailering.
Yours look good.

Looks great, that first pic was awesome!
Nope not black, ordered them blue thinking they would be gentler on the eyes at night. I have not fished with them yet but I'll bet a dimmer is in my future.![]()

Red is the color you'll want for night vision. It's the color that doesn't effect the rods in your eyes. You can have the red lights on and almost instantly regain your natural night vision when they're turned off.
Blue will be very bright on your eyes.
Install looks clean, however. Good job and I like the idea of using the lights for towing the boat...makes your cargo more visible to other drivers.
