Looks to me like these two guys that replied are dealers for Night Fishion.

The Night Fishion System can only be sold by authorized dealers. Like CT Customs, I am an authorized dealer for both the Night Fishion System and Blue Water LED's...... Guess that makes me Dick...... LOL

none of them said anything about nightfishin but the lights look the same. what's the difference? better warranty, brighter? how long are they guaranteed?

I took it as he was asking about the UV lights ("blacklights") that are set in the rub rail. It is a completely different than the Blue Water LED's.

Look....don't want to step on any toes here. But I did mine at home. Ordered the UV LED strips in 38' lenths and installed them. On a rub rail thats round you need to drill out and pull the rub rail and insert them as in the photo. Make em stick with what I found best is gasket former or windshield sealent.

On inserted rubrails you can cut it to length and put these in place. Nice thing about it is if you don't like it you can always remove it and put the rub back. On round where you drill you can't.

A couple of sites you may want to visit is:

    http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips
    http://www.superbrightleds.com...3wfls

I've used both and prefer superbright. They are brighter and you can get by with one on a 20' boat.

My two cents worth and sorry if I offended anyone. And remember if you screwed it up you only have yourself to blame so if you don't want to do the job, leave it to someone who has done it.

Thanks for the reply. I take it you are talking about the WFLB96 series 96-LED Waterproof Flexible Light Bar ?

Yes that's the one. They work great! I've got one set on a side and getting ready to install a second. I'm waiting for them to come in the mail. I've also ordered a set from Ozicom just to see how they are. The Superbright are brighter then the Ozicom from reading the specs. But they seem to be a little more durable from the pics. I can let you know which is best once I get them tested.

The 1/2" tubular style insert is a pain to do yourself; it can be done. After all your holes are drilled you must take the insert out and slice the back of if with a utility knife or your weapon of choice. When you put the LED strips in place BE CAREFUL!!!!! The circuit boards on the back of these things are only soldered together so even though they are flexible if you put them in too much of a bind you'll have about 10 hours of labor in pushing these diodes through the holes only to find out that every 5 or so don't work b/c you've broken a solder joint snapping them in. I can say all this from experience; I WAS LIVID. It may be more money but if you can afford it I suggest going with the nightfishion system; Scot is a great guy to work with and he offers a 3 year warranty on his product whereas superbright and oznium offer a 1 year and his circuit boards are a little beefier too so there will be less chance of running into a problem like I described above.
