Saw this or something similar a couple years back and finally I found it. I want the cable protected and have a cleaner look than just ty-wraps holding it to the shaft. Here is the solution.

Where did you get the cable protector?
When I bought my new Procraft in April 2008, those were in the rod locker. Make sure to periodically take them off to clean beneath......
