    LED question

I noticed guys puttting deck lights on the nav light switch. Does the lights on the deck being on affect your vision while driving the boat? I am getting ready to install some and was on the fence about switching them seperate or just off of the nav lights. Also, I noticed most everyone putting a color on the deck and white in the compartments. When you open a compartment, is the white not to bright?

I don't know about wiring through the NAV switch, I'm wiring mine up to a separate switch. I like the idea of being able to control them independently myself

I would suggest wiring each group separate. The Leds that you put on the deck are very bright and you will need to turn them off while driving. I have the blue ones and they are very bright. You can leave them on if the moon is bright but if it is a dark night it will effect your vision.

I agree. there is no good reason to have the deck lights on while running. While sitting waiting to launch I want you to have them on but while running they cannot help your vision.

I run a dimmer to lower them. But if your running fast at dark you want to switch them off
