Don, Question about O ring in oil tank

I bought 2, 0 rings from you last week along with a new gas line and bulb. The gas line went on without a hitch, your tip about the 1/4 inch cable and electrical tape worked like a charm, thanks. My question is, when I replace the O rings in my oil tank in the boat, will I have to bleed the system or just retighten the caps?

Not Don, but, just re-tighten the caps on the tank.

    BUZZZ>>> WRONG!

When you remove the pickup tube cap from the REMOTE (boat) tank to install the o-ring, the pickup tube is lifted above the oil level, POTENTIALLY trapping air in the oil line and pickup tube.

It's VERY simple to bleed the air from the system.... and be sure. Might save you a headache on the water later.....
