Registration sticker removal

This is impossible
I'm replacing my registration stickers because the old ones were crooked and on big white squares
I cannot get the old ones off. I have tried gasoline, acetone, and a hair drier (not all at once ) and no matter what I do, they will not come off. Any suggestions before I go out and buy an eraser? Thanks

Goo Off From Wal Mart. Spray it on and let it set for 30 mins.

the hair drier will work(heat gun works best) u just gotta get it close and take ur time heat them up real good and they should peel off,then take thinner or goo gone to get rest of glue off.

See if you can find a heat gun. They get much hotter than a hair dryer. If you have any friends who build model airplanes, they should have one.

Goo gone always works! I use a plastic ice scraper to get the majority of the sticker off the just wipe on the goo gone and come back 10 minutes later and wipe it clean.

Careful if you use a heat gun, you could screw up your fiberglass.

The heat gun will work, but you can burn the gelcoat if you're not careful. I am in the middle of a full restoration and I used a 3M eraser wheel for all my decals. Took them clean off in seconds with zero damage to gelcoat. Saved me hours of time. This is the way to go. I know they aren't cheap, but you will use it again down the road.

i used a razor to get all the pieces off, then goof off to get the residue off.

plastic putty knife or a credit card w hair dryer worked for me with the old mailbox letters. Sore fingers for sure. Took several days work on and off to get em all. Then wet sand to get the colors to match.

I used a heat gun then your left with the nice silver void sticker, i used razor blade and lacquer thinner to remove mine.

I used the 3M eraser that auto body shops use to remove pin stripes. It attaches to a drill (i recommend using a regular electric plug in drill, not cordless). It worked very well...had both sides of my hull clear of lettering/numbers in 15 min! No damage to gel coat at all.

Hair dryer, just don't heat it too much that the glue melts to the fiberglass. I got mine off, new ones on in less than an hour. After pulling stickers off, wipe off residue with wd40 and a rag. I don't have a heat gun or any experience using one for this application.
