So I figured a lot of people probably get on here and hear how much work it is to bring your shine back. Well I decided I would show proof of the difference when you cut corners.
This first picture you can see where the spot has been wet sanded just a little bit towards the bottom of the picture
The next one you can see what it looks like after using rubbing compound and polishing compoud the white blotch is where i went passed the wet sanded spot and that's the pitted area showing up
This is the other side
And this is with not wet sanding just rubbing and polishing compounds
It's hard to tell a difference in the silver but look at the black section of both. There's a lot more color. I was hoping to get better detail out of the pics but it's hard. The side with no wetsanding has a little bit of yellow to it still too. Definitely worth wet sanding first. I hope this helps some of you decide on what you should do. I'm in the process of wet sanding the whole boat right now. Can't wait to post up pics of the finished product.
