    Aerospace 303

Seems to me I saw a few posts saying this was good stuff. A forum search didn't come up with anything.

Have you guys used it? Like it? Does it take the place of boat wax, or do you put it on, then wax next?

I got some at Cabela's, and used it per instructions. But it doesn't leave a slippery "waxed" feel to it. What's the next step?

    Re: Aerospace 303 (hawg whacker)

Been using 303 on my boats for 10 years. When I sold the last one, the buyer couldn't believe how good the gel coat looked for it's age. If anything, I find it gets the boat TOO slippery. I almost fell on my a$$ one day climbing out of it because it was so slick!

Well, I just got the first coat all on and buffed off. Definiately not slick. Guess I'll be putting on a few more coats!

How often do you apply it?

Stuff is AWESOME!!! Accept I dont put it on the Gel coat.. I slap it on everything else. Everything that is plastic, rubber, or metal!!! Works great on the dash panel, trolling motor, tires, rub rail.. Highly recommended !

I just wipe it on by hand with a soft cloth. It is not a wax. I wonder if you buffed it all off?

303 is awesome stuff, but it isn't a wax. I use it on everything other than the gelcoat. For gelcoat wax I use Meguiars Premium Flagship wax and BBS in between waxings. 303 is outstanding at protecting and cleaning all types of rubber/plastics.

No, I didn't buff it off. I just wiped it down with a separate dry cloth after applying with a first cloth. I'll give it a second coat. Then, maybe wax as usual.

Then I'll go over everything else with it. Thanks guys!

Not sure why your putting it on the Gel Coat. Use a Wax. Slap it on everything else but the Gel coat!!

Says right on the jug, "for fiberglass gel coats". UV protection is always a good thing...

I like the 303 also. I use it on everything on my boat, car and truck. I bought a gallon jug as it is a little cheaper. It is great for spraying on fiberglass that has some oxydation.

    Re: Aerospace 303 (javelin90)

Did some research... and must say WOW. My cowling wasnt bad but a little spots of haze. Slapped on some 303 with my hand liberally, no cloth rub it in with my hand let sit a few hours and amazing how it soaked in and wiped the rest off. Took what little oxidation there was out. Even did a little part of the Gel Coat. Seems to work great!!!

    Re: Aerospace 303 (golfpro307)

I tried the bottle of blue spray and it was ok for my ranger. mine is a 1990 model year. The gelcoat is not hased or oxydized at all. I like the 303 the best for me. From the hull to rubber, etc.
    great product!
