    Boat Trailer Bunker Boards Angle.

Getting ready to overhall my trailer while i'm getting some places on the coat of the boat fixed. New carpet and new bunker boards and in the works. Anybody have any idea what angle the bunker boards need to be when I put them back on? I've got a 1994 stratos 284 with matching trailer....I'll post some pics while i'm working..

Re: Boat Trailer Bunker Boards Angle. (jtathebeach)

The bunks on my Ranger Trail are mounted on hinges to allow for self-centering [no specific "angle"] . I used 2x6x10ft. with bunk carpet glued [waterproof] and stapled on the reverse. I used 3 in x 1/2 in. stainless lag bolts to re-attach the boards.

Re: Boat Trailer Bunker Boards Angle. (bassdad)

When I redid mine on my 350 Ranger I just left the bolts and nuts a tad loose and after setting the boat back down I tightened the mount bolts tight. This seemed to work out fine for me hope this helps yopu out also. !!!!!
