    Cleaning/Polishing Trailer Rims

As my boat sits out side, the Rims are starting to show their age. I am wondering what is the best way, without demounting the tires to clean/polish and protect them?

    Re: Cleaning/Polishing Trailer Rims (98rangerdvs)

Have the rims been coated with a clearcoat type covering? My rims appeared pretty well shot but I found out that they had a type of protective film - seemed like clearcoat. I used lightly balled aluminum foil and acetone + fine grade steel wool.....and a stack of elbow grease....on page 1 of my thread...
