    Carpet Padding

I am planning on fishing quite a few tournaments this upcoming year.

I have weak ankles, knee pain from time to time and stand a lot on my job. I would like to install some extra padding in my bass boat considering I'm going to be replacing the carpet this spring.

Anyone has any knowledge of a marine padding that's equivalent to 8 Lb. padding or better used in residential housings that I could possible get away with using for extra cushioning. If so, where can I obtain it.

I have a link on my other computer for padding, but not with me at this time. Its kinda like wet suit material. I think the thickest is qtr inch.

I think C&O marine also sells it, several places sell it.

    Thanks ChampioNman,

I like the padding it definitely, seem to be the way to go.

I was also, told by Ranger391V on here that you know quite a bit about what to do with a Johnson. He suggested that I definitely, get your advice. I have a 99 225 Venom that I have a hole in the head about the size of a quarter. I'm contemplating on rebuilding it vs. parting it out.

I already have a 220 merc. that has been blue printed & spec'd to a 260. I just have to change the controls over and get the right low water pickup for it. I'm not sure whether I'm going to stay with a Bullet. But, I do want to get it running right. Around here everyone seem to be allergic to a Johnson and suggest I scrap it.

It was running in the mid eighties before it blew.
