    Screws pulling out

On a vent cover plate I have some screws that are popping out like they've been ripped out. If it were wood I'd put a toothpick in the hole with the screw. What do you do on fiberglass?

Depending on the size of the hole, use a small wood dowl, or a golf tee works great. Cut it to fit, and use marine tex to epoxy it in. Let cure, and re-drill your hole. Good as new. Marine tex is your friend on stuff like that.

I have a few loose screws also. Can you just fill the hole with marine tex than retap? Will it be strong?

Plastic screw in anchors. They cost a little more but well worth it. Use a little liquid nail or similar on them before you screw them in and you're good to go. GL JimC
