    Removing water spots

Does anyone have any recommendations for removing water spots from my boat and motor?

Marpro Formula 9 , all purpose, heavy duty cleaner. Good for all water spots and grime on hull. Model #7-1091, if it helps. Doesn't damage gelcoat. Actually shines when done, but a spray and wipe protectant will shine even more after.

I have heard that if you take some of the works toilet bowl cleaner and dilute it, prolly 20-30:1 with water, it will take off the water spots on the motor.

When I take it out of the water, I spray mine with 50% white vinegar - 50% water. I spray it all first to dissolve the spots then wipe it down. This will also soften your carpet too.

Meguiars 47 Marine Rv Hard Water Spot Remover...

If you want to buy something off the shelf, this stuff works.... I tried everything on my Yammie 225 cowling to get water spots off and nothing worked.. But this stuff did... (never tried the Vinegar though)...

It's about $15 for a spray bottle, and you won't need much for just a motor..
