I have found a soft spot in my floor right at the base of the passenger seat and side of the rod locker/cooler area. I have seen they post's on here about people fixing them and I AM NOT a builder/fabricator. So my question is how much would a spot about 8 inches squared cost to repair?

That's interesting! I just picked up a 95 400T with a soft spot in the exact same spot. Must have been a factory flaw?
I was thinking about repairing it myself, but don't know if I'm really up to it.

I recently had a much larger soft repaired in my boat. They charged $600 but that also included a complete carpet job. Just an 8"x 8" area could me much less if carpet was not involved. An 8" x 8" area does not seem do bad for a do-it-yourself project. Its much easier than one would expect if you have a few days to work on it. However, I was told that the spot in my boat, which was much larger, would need a high quality or professional repair to maintain the integrity of the boat. Im am not an expert by any means, just passing on some information I recieved when I was in your situation.
