    Wax or Polymer

I am taking my Ranger to a detail shop this weekend for a good cleanup and wax. I was planning to use 3M Marine Wax, but the guy at the shop is recommending a polymer instead. He says the polymer will shed the water better and stop water spots and water lines.

Does anybody know which is better??

    Re: Wax or Polymer (RangerScott)

A good polymer made for gelcoat will last longer than standard wax.

Pro-Tec will last about the whole season. Use BBS to wipe down at the ramp.
