    87 champion carpet question

    does anyone know if the back seat pedestal base comes up or do I have to recarpet it on the boat? It feels solid and dont see anyway it comes up. thanks

    It stays on the boat, it's part of the deck. You'll have to drill out the rivets for the aluminum trim that surrounds it.

    Thanks. Once the rivets are drilled out would you replace them with screws? If so what size. thanks again.
