I used contact cement on the lids and areas where the carpet had to be wrapped. I used carpet adhesive (Henry's or Robert's works good) for the decking and large areas.

Installing mine now, started out using outdoor carpet glue. It has been 5 days now and it is still wet. Went to contact glue and it makes it so much easier. Going to do front deck this week and will use carpet glue in the large area but use the contact glue around the edge.
Is the weather there pretty cold right now... Its been in the mid 60's to low 70's here in the day and upper 40's at night. that gonna affect drying much? thanks

What product number do you used for the Roberts or Henrys adhesive? (Roberts 3300, 6700.... etc)?

I believe I used the Roberts 6700. You want and indoor/outdoor or straight outdoor adhesive. If you use the straight outdoor adhesive, make sure you do it in a well ventilated area.

It was pretty cold with the lows at night down in the low 30s. It has warmed up a bit and it is setting up faster now, you should have no problems where your at.
I believe it was the 7200 premium indoor - out door glue.
I used the Henry's on the floor and deck. On the lids and corners I used the Contact cement. I had the garage at a constand 70 plus in temperature. I found that with the contact cement you should not place items over the carpet and not allow oxygen to get to the contact cement. It won't dry and does not cure. I would suggest the adhesive for deck and floor. I had a strip to remove and after having it dry for just 2 days I needed to pull off the strip. I pulled the whole fiber backing left and what remained was the carpet fibers. that adhesive once cured is some STRONG stuff!
Here is what you want.
