    TritonSF-21 re carpet

    re carpeting my boat thought i would post some pics.

    This is my boat



    Start of tear out



    glue is not nice

    more pics this one shows where the seat mounts 3 broken drill bits in holes and 2 out of 8 bolts holding

    filled holes and drilled and tapped eight new ones

    more carpet gone

    heat gun, elbow grease ,scraper wire wheel, and beer.never going to do this again.it is going well but man it takes time to it right

    contact cement on all the lids and glue I bought from a marine daelat on all the fiberglass

    I am going to tackle this job in the next year or two. I'm sure it a big PITA, but it's looking so good. Once it's finished you can always look at your work and be proud.

    I called this picture grief.its an outside corner and a inside corner where the storage lid goes on,man what a pain to do ,oh well done now, the best i could.

    I could of filled the corner that looks funny but did not bother .I found out that once the lids are on for a while it compacts the carpet and it looks just fine
