    Removing Glue

I am changing the carpet in my boat. What can I use to remove the old glue? Was thinking something like lacquer thinner, but don't want to mess up the fiberglass. THANKS

    Re: Removing Glue (BARRY J)

there are alot of threads that put explain this in detail...do a search and you'll find alot of good reading...just to start a good scraper 1 1/2 - 2" and a good fan and some mountain dew...lol Also acetone is the way to go to help loosen it...it will dry very quickly so don't use to much at one time as it will evaporate...and make sure it ONLY gets on the glue and not all over the place...and with any chemical gloves and ventilation are a must....good luck! Got any pics of her??
