How to get rid of oxidation?

Got a "new" 1990 Ranger and need to know how to get rid of the oxidation/fading on the lower half of the hull. I've waxed the heck out of it till it shines like a new nickel, but the color is still faded. Suggestions?

Wow! That could take a while! I think I'll save that for a winter project. For now I guess I'll just keep it waxed up real good so it doesn't get any worse. Thanks for the info.

Do what Basscat 7 says! I did it to my Ranger 461 and it turned out great. He gives great instructions and if you follow them it will turn out GREAT !

Someone posted on that thread about using Turtle Wax Color Back to restore or shine up the boat trailer? Anyone done that with success, if so what's involved?

My 98 Ranger looks about like his did before he started on the gel coat. I plan to make this a winter project and try to get mine looking like it did 10 years ago. I'd like to have the trailer looking good too if possilbe.
