How do you raise boat off trailer to clean behind side bunks?

How do you raise boat up off trailer so you can clean behind the side bunks etc?
I have a floor jack, but would like to know the safe and easy way to do this. The boat is in my garage. Any and all opinions appreciated. Thanks! Dave L.

It is not safe to use a floor jack to raise boat. I remove the side bolsters or just wipe them down while I wait for the trailer to arrive then shimmy a towel between and pull along to dry the best you can.
