Painting or covering newly glassed area?

Hello. I have finally gotten my new floor and transom in and I have gotten the new glass on it. My question is do you have to paint or put anything on these newly glassed areas? I know you would want to on areas that will be visible but I was wondering about areas that will not be visible after I put the top back on.

    Thanks.

No, it is not necessary to paint or cover the glassed area up. It may yellow a little over time, especially if the sun gets at it, but you do not need to paint the glass in order to protect it. If no one is going to see the area, you can leave it as it is.

Thanks - I was thinking that but wanted to make sure. This project has gone on way too long - I didn't want anything extra to do but didn't want to not do something too.

    Thanks again.
