Corner cuts for lids

There was a thread on this anyone know where it is. Or can some one put up the pictures again on how to cut the corners so they fit right fixing to recarpet.

Thanks Jim! There is also another diagram that shows you how to cut the corners but the cuts comes across the side. I'm sure it works but i tried it and it's too easy to screw up.

I treid that one and it was a real pain to get it jsut right. If you mess it up then it owuld show plain as day cuz it is on the lids side instead of the corner. Go look at a Nitro, Only saying that cuz that's where I noticed it, but you will see the seam.

I think it is important to have the seams directly on the edge, as this area has the least amount of friction with the framing, when the lid is being opened and/or closed. If the seam is in an area where there is friction on the carpet, it seems to me that the weakest link of the carpet is the seam and the ends of the carpet (seam) could start to fray or pull free. "JoePA"'s method has worked great for me.
