The boat is a 1996 Stratos 285 Pro XL. I have to replace one of the thru hull fittings for my livewell drains.The nipple had a crack in it. It is a simplelivewell system. The valves are just open/closed and they drain out at the transom. The exisiting ones are black plastic. The majority of the ones I see for sale state they are not for below waterline use. I have read the Marelon ones have a tendency to be more brittle.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I will probably do both while I'm at it.
