    Painting injected foam pieces

2000 Stratos. I've got the black foam piece on the bow that holds the fish finder, toggles etc. Is there any paint that would hold up or should I take it and have it wrapped in vinyl ?

    Thanks in advance.

If its that foam stuff that you can push and it feels soft and stuff, no, not really. Just about every kind of paint or dye I ever seen will flake....

But if you dont mind keeping up with it, some of those new armorall type products really really take the dullness out of that kind of thing. Theres a product called black magic or something like that and its real thick, almost like oil.

I thought of that but I've got some paint starting to peel. Might have to wrap in Marine grade vinyl.
