Check with your local lumber supplier. If they dont have it they can order it and it ranges in price from about $73 to $88 per a sheet. I'm in the midst of replacing my floor and transom and found a local lumber supplier for my marine grade plywood.

I used 2 layers of P/T 3/4" Plywood that I glued with polyurethane(waterproof) glue and screwed it together with stainless screws.
Then coated the whole thing with fiberglass resin.
Just make sure you don't put any screws where fitting and hardware bolt thru.
Worked out real well in my Grumman

I just ordered 3 sheets of 3/4 from 84 Lumber today. It wasnt the cheapest at 90/sheet, but Im not in the mood to spend 2 hours on the phone to save 6$/sheet. I ordered it today so I would have it in case it took a week to get here, then the guy calls back and said it will be ready at 3pm. So I guess i gotta find a place to put this stuff for a few weeks.. LOL.

Oh yeah, I read in one of the other threads that PT isnt the same as marine grade. PT has chemicals in it to resist rot(but it doesnt really last all that long either), while marine grade supposedly has no knots or anything so its stronger.

use epoxy with 4 oz mat to glue the two primed board together, using the SS screw for bonding pressure. prime with epoxy thinned with 10% tolulene[only not acetone].

Dan, we have a material that we sell to the marine people that is used for anything from transoms, ski lids, to rod rack etc. It is a black polyethelene sheet that will last longer than everyone on here. The sheet size is 54"x96". They run around $290 sheet. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. My # is 417-862-6512 or email at mrmiller@polyfabplastics.com
