Hey guys,
Just curious what I would need to do to get the underside of the boat re-painted Marine Black, and re-do the trailer bunks at the same time? Is there something easy that can be done with a series of jacks/stands etc...., or do I need to drop the boat off professionally? What kind of paint/sprayer do you recommend?
It"s not paint.........................it's gelcoat! It has to be prepped and sprayed on and not just anybody can do it.

it can be painted, Ive seen it done before....If it is not black now, I wouldnt suggest it...over time the scratches will show through, and it will end up looking bad....
you can get the exact matching gel coat from Ranger and it's fairly cheap. Then find METP as the catalyst from most any marine supply. you need a 2% mix to go with the gel coat.([per ranger)
the real trick is then to go buy Duratec. Get enough for a 50/50 mix with your gel coat

Duratec allows you to spray Gel just like paint. they have very good instructions on their web site
