When i recarpeted mine I ripped the old carpet out, then sanded the floors with a 4" electric sander. Vaccumed out the left over dust then followed directions on putting in new carpet. Hardest part was recovering deck lids and rod box lid. Good luck. Not that hard to do.
Easy to do. Ripped my carpet off. Left a kind of rubber residue. I scrapped off what I could with large wide puty knife. then I poured acetone on what was left and kept rubbing with a new cloth. wasnt hard at all. Cut carpet slightly bigger than needed, Glued cented of carpet then worked out. trimmed when I got to outside to fit exactly.
A number of months ago someone posted detailed intstructions along with photos'. Maybe they can repost?
