    1998 Xpress Aluminum restoration

I just finished up a restoration job on my Xpress. I changed the color from burgundy to white and installed new carpet. For some reason the pictures really show a difference in the color of carpet from two different rolls, but in person you can't tell there is any color difference. Like I said she got new paint, decals, carpet, latches, keel protection, and a lock-n-stow. The trailer got new paint, rhino lined in places, bushings in springs and equalizers, wheel bearings and seals, carpeting on bunks and inside fenders, wiring, lights, retractable straps, and tires.

Tyson, It's a 98 model. It's not a real fast one, although it is alot faster since I redone the bottom. I'm getting in the mid 60's with it with a tournament load.

Re: 1998 Xpress Aluminum restoration (Bass Hawk 87)

About the color difference, it's merely how the carpet is weaved. You laid it down in a different direction. Still not convinced? Ever wonder how they get those patterns in the grass in a baseball field? It's because there are rollers behind the mowers that expose the underside of the grass blades which are a lighter color.

    Awesome job on the boat!
