i have a 2001 225 optimax, its a great motor and runs really strong, but when i first unload my boat in the water, i start it, runs for a sec and dies, it does that 2 maybe 3 times, and then its fine until you turn it off for a while, and then it does it agian, and it kinna idles rough sometimes when in gear, what could this be???

Are you running NGK (IZFR5G) Spark plugs, gapped at .032" (check this item carefully, please)
