1995 Champion 204 Info on SetUp

1995 204 with 225 yamaha, also has a trophy 25 pitch 4 blade. Running with gear and myself only at 62 63mph and 5800 rpm. Also has a 6 inch power lift jack plate that is set in one spot right now b/c it's motor went out last week.Is this set up sound right or am I off?

If you're at altitude, probably pretty close, if you're lower, it's not very good.

Tempest will give you some mph over the trophy, both need to be around 3 1/2" shaft under pad, then see what you've got.

I am running out of Phoenix which is about 1700 ft above sea level. Prop to pad right now is about 4 3/4.

That hull wants all the lift you can give it, find a known good 25 tempest, and do whatever you can to fix your jack plate, there's 5 mph out there to be had on what you've got.
