How to compensate for weight added to transom???

I've recently added two Minn Kota Talons to my skeeter (01 Skeeter ZX225 + OX66 VMAX225) which has added an extra 70-80 lbs (2 brackets + 2 Talons) to the rear end of my boat. Since the rear sits a little lower now, should I be raising the jackplate instead of lowering it for a better hole shot?

Hole shot feels sluggish and takes longer to get on plane now... I do expect a 5ish MPH lost on top end speed, but would like to tune the boat for a better, cleaner hole shot.... any suggestions?

I currently run a Turbo TXP 26. With the increased weight, would most recommend trying a 25? On the top end, prior to adding the Talons, I would usually get around 69-71 mph, but my RPMs would be somewhere in the low 6000 RPMs which has always concerned me. With the Talons on board, I get mid 60s for top speed now but my RPMs are still reaching low 6000s (6100-6300)... thoughts?

Or should I be considering 27 pitch prop?

    Thanks!

You probably need to go to the props board and ask Mark about your prop. You've got 20% slip showing before the added weight. What is your prop to pad setting now? You could have PVS holes drilled in the prop to help on take off but you need some other work done to it to lower the slip.
