Looking forward to that Burnsville report. Got a tourney there next week and then one two weeks after that. All ears buddy. LOL

Well went to Burnsville Sunday and boy it was a bad day. The water is EXTREMELY low and they only have one lane at the ramp open. Water temperature was 39* and the water was pretty muddy.

I ended up leaving around 11:30 and stopped by Stonewall on the way home and it was the complete opposite!!! Water was milky and 50*, plus I caught three all around 2lbs with a red eye shad in a couple of hours.
Best of luck next week and hopefully they fill the lake up and it warms up quite a bit.

Yeah, Burnsville has been way below winter pool so they could repair some water lines and it has just recently started to fill back up so it is just taking in all the recent cold rain/snow run off we recently got.

Ah, thats nice. Guess with the rain its not gonna clear up any. May warm a bit. I may forget the tourney and wait. Damn I was looking forward to getting out this weekend.

Fished tournament yesterday at Burnsville. Caught 5 fish but only one was over 12". Lake is still pretty muddy but the river has cleared up a lot. Water temp on main lake is around 53-55. Not many fish where caught

    Re: (lcmartin)

Fished a tourney there today, took 14.14 to win and 13 and change for second. We had three for alittle over four pounds. 1st Big fish was 5.14 second big fish was 5.11.

Tough day for us but we did manage two muskies, one on a jig the other on a red eye shad. Good fights for sure.

Had water as high as 59.1 main lake in the afternoon.

She's gonna get right in the near future. Fish were still pretty white. All in all it was a good trip for my first time ever being there.
