I will be headed thier in two weeks.I will post temps again when i get back.It should turn on soon.
I fished Stonewall yesterday (3/20) from 7am-3pm and caught 5, the biggest was 3.25lbs. All my fish were caught with a chartreuse craw Strike King Red Eye Shad in 12'-15' of water and they were about 6' down relating to wood.
Water temp at the dam was 46° and was 51° up towards Walkersville, all my fish came from Walkersville area in the muddier water.
I like walkersville also, I have caught some big o good ones out of that area. We have a camper on a lot 10 min from walkersville ramp, I used to spend alot of time there and no that area pretty well. There is a couple old house seats in that area that holds good fish year after year.
I can't wait to get my tax return back to buy a SI to find places like that up there!!!
If you are coming from the main lake into walkersville you can almost see it from the no wake boey. You will not see the house seat but you will see the only bare looking bank there, no brush or rock just a bare looking bank. The house seat is in 6 to 7' of water you should be able to see it on your graph. It is about 40' off the bank and was a pretty good size home. When the fish come up and hit the banks that place is always full of fish. The other house seat, go under the walkersville bridge and the left hand cove the seat is out in the lake. You have to use the graph but is around that area of the cove. Hope that helps you, Dan
