Can't go either fightin the dang flu and got things tore apart in my boat waitin on parts. Oh well goin thru all my tackle today and thinning it out a little and gettin organized.

All is well though I will be in the WV next weekend fishing the New River!
I am working this weekend also, but i did get to go fish lake norman wed and thur.
I did fairly well, i did manage one fish over five pounds. The bite is just going to get better over the next couple of weeks, i have a club tournament at norman on the 24th., so i decided to just go down and look around.
#3 cylinder the piston melted. The tech recommend I look for a new motor though so if any of you guys got a lead on a 150 or 175 let me know. Its tough to take after I just redone alot of the boat. The hull is solid and gelcoat looks good. I recarpeted, added new electronics, repaired trim, and put a new water pump in. Should have gone ahead and cleaned the carborator real good

thanks guys, I have a lead on a 175hp mariner... so i am negotiating with a guy on that. I was suppose to spend next weekend on KY Lake, looks like I will have to put that trip on hold.
Goose how do you like your mariner and can you think of anything I need to know about those motors I might want to know about?
I love mine i have never had one thing go bad on it all I have done to it was put a new water pump Hell i ran the same plugs in it for 10 years and i ran the heck out of that thingI feel they or just the same as a merc just a different color
