Burnsville April 2, 2006

Went out to Burnsville today. Supposed to have been a nice day, but it stayed cloudy till noon or so. Only caught one bass. A 17in 3.75lb bass on a Rapala X-Rap in gold. Caught in around 10 feet of water on a mud bank. Didn't get water temp, dam! gauge died. Some others said they where catching some dinks in the heads of the coves. Sounds like the males are up in the bedding areas fanning some nests out. The females are still in deeper water. Got a few strikes on a cuttail worm, but nothing solid. Anyone know what won today?

It should be by then. They should either be on the beds or they will be in post spawn. Either hungry or in defensive mode. Good luck! You heard what won there? They had about 3 or 4 club tournaments Sunday.
