Which lake is better for fall fishing.Spent a week last year on Moultrie,last part of September first part of October.Caught more fish in the tail race than in Moultrie.I think the hurricanes had the fishing off.The plan is for the third week of October this year or should i wait and go later? You can always catch #'s in the Tail Race. If your looking for picture takers, stay on the lakes, unless the wind is up...Good luck....
Rough Water1,I have bass guided on these lakes for 35 years & fished them for 51 years.The fall is my favorite time,very few people,not many tournaments.The 3rd week of Oct,are you not going to BBC rally at Short Stay?My favorite lake at this time of the year is the upper lake,but that dosn"t mean the lower lake is not good,it"s that the upper lake is more suited for my style of fishing in fall.If you need any help,please take a look at my webbsite,wwwinkydavis.com & I hope you have a good trip down here.
