Coming back to my home town July 12-17 and I would like to fish Sayers or even Raystown. My target fish is smallmouth. If anyone has any information regarding where I can find them I will be happy to share information on the Potomac River. Thanks in advance.

We found fish relating to grass that is starting to come in. With the front Saturday it was tough but we semi-figured them out. Now for SM I have no idea but I did catch one about 4lbs on a shakeyhead.

Smallmouth in Raystown the past couple of years has gone down. We have a few early tournaments there before bass goes out in April. Four yeas ago it would take 20+ pound bag of smallies to win it.......for the last 3 years now it has been largemouth coming in and those fishing for smallies are coming up empty.
As for Sayers, i know a few good places for largemouth but i can't help ya on the smallies there.....but i konw where some big largies are!
If you would be willing to share that info on Sayers with me I would be greatful. I grew up 5 minutes from sayers and I would love to get into the lmb...
Also I will give you potomac river info if you would need some..
