Anything biting on Gibson? Was thinking about crappie this weekend, but not sure what this cold front will do. Are the bass still biting? A neighbor of mine said a couple weeks ago he was catching them on points.

Welcome to this forum! Sorry that there appear to be no postings for Fort Gibson here. If you have not already checked the OWD report, I recommend it to you. I also suggest you post in the Oklahoma Bass Club forum and in the Lounge and see if someone can give you a "heads up" on the fishing there.
When you do get a chance to go, would sure appreciate it if you could post a short report here telling us what the conditions were and how you did, good or bad.

Went out on Saturday. Only caught 5 largermouth with two of them being around 3 pounds each. Caught them on crankbaits on the windy points. Was able to catch a couple very large sand bass on the point as well, which is always fun. They were hitting it in about 4-6 ft of water. Couldn't catch any deep or very shallow bass. Water temp was 51 in morning and 57 by afternoon.
