Check out the New York Section in myfishfinder.com. There's always a lot of guides on there talking trout/salmon. I'm not sure if you need to join to see the forums or not, but it's free if you do. Good Luck
the place to go is Lake Ontaro United. as the name suggests its primarily lake O trout/salmon fishermen. free to join and you will find that since lake O is a fairly tight community you can get some very fair guide asessments if you post your Q in the open lake forum and ask folks to PM you.
