Opeechee Bay Launch Review

Typical concrete block ramp with good turnaround and park 10-15 trailers.
The state has this launch listed as cartop. MAROONS!!!!
There was a porta-john,the wife used it in the a.m.
The word she used was "hovered" when I asked how clean it was.
It had been changed out by the time we left.
Rte3 off I93 to Rte 11A
Left onto Main St (106)
Right onto Church St.
Left onto Messer St.
On left after the power station grid


We arrived @ 8 am and left @ 1 pm
We caught 10 bass both LG and SM,all fish between 2-4 lbs.
Biggest SM was 3lb. by Kathy
Biggest LG was 4lb.
Most fish came out of 4-10 ft water as they we schooling on clouds of baitfish.
Lots and lots of baitfish here.

Went to Opeechee on Monday 9/7 for the first time. Cloudy with a pretty good breeze. Since it was new to me, started at the ramp and moved around counterclockwise. In 4 hours probably only made it 3/4 of the way around. Obviously never found the right area as only got one 3 pounder and no other decent hits. Did hear there was a tourney the day before, I will use that as an excuse rather than just my lack of skill.
