I think I may give it a try this weekend.How's the ramp / parking there ?

been awhile for me but it used to be fine, it's next to a small dam with parking a small distance away.But then again, I'm old and easily confused.

Ramp is ok but shallow.
Parking for 6 across the stream overflow parking acroos the street up the side.
Flukes ans senkos in green/watermelon bases with either red or gold flake.
Also frogs over the pads.
Keep an eye out last time there we saw a bald eagle.
There is a town beach with bathroom but it opens later in the am usually.

Was on Webster this Morning when someone came up and asked if I had a scale. He pulled a sweet larry out of his livewell. Weighed in at 4- 13 on one scale and 4-11 on my other. was FAT!

I was also on Webster on Sat all day.I didn't do very well, we got a total of 5 with one smallie and the biggest lg at 3.4, I did lose 3 at the boat and before we left we had to help a boat that was out off gas

What boat were you in? I saw a Nitro/triton? fishing some shitty areas near the beach, around 8AM. Lake has too much good structure to fish a muck bottom. I got 7 between 5:30 and 8. Off the water by 8:30 and then had to pack up the cottage. Home about 11:30

That was me in a Nitro ,I had just gotten there.This was my first time there and I was going to be there all day ( until Dark) so I thought I would fish the whole lake to check it out.The three fish I lost where in that area.

I have hooked into some big smallies crusing that sand flat at the launch end of the lake in 5-6 ft of water early in the am

Ask Sweeney, I took him there and we pulled in one 3+ after another. Cast after cast.
I'd fish inlet and outlet in early AM but once the sun came up hit the under water humps, (there are several). or Grass beds. (Again several). The island and rock pile by the other public beach are always good. Also this time of year a drop shot will also work near the deep water rock piles. Senkos 194,208, 42 and also the new baby bass color. Hula grubs 194,208. Also slugos and of course the Red shad power worm. Any time you want to get together let me know. I may drive back up there this weekend. lol
By the way my best day on the lake----- over 25 fish. I just hooked them and gave the rods to the kids. Best 5 were over 21lbs, and they were 4 smallies and one large.
