    Re: November Fishing (TMG)

Russ and I will be there on Sat. We haven't talked about Sunday yet. We were using plastics and crankbaits mostly. Russ did throw a frog with some success He now has the record for the latest bass on a frog. (From the Gambler that is.) Previous record was 10-13-07.

Looks like we will be there Sunday,Eddie still says yes.
His southern blood must be as thin as lighter fluid these days.
We'll see how long he lasts.

    Re: November Fishing (cyclone70)

OMG a frog bite? I have not caught a fish on a frog in 2 months and I'm in Texas. I guess I will have to pack one of those also. Once the hypothermia sets in I won't even be aware of how cold it will be. Good friends cold booze and a fish or two and I will be a happy frozen man. Can't wait until sunday.

Are you starting a pool? I'll give him about 3 hours...unless the wind picks up. Then I'd give him 90 minutes.

    Re: November Fishing (cyclone70)

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers Tyler it is appreciated. My mom is having knee replacement surgery. The surgery itself I am not too worried about it is just that she is an empty nester now and I have to worry about shoveling her driveway and slipping at any point in the winter etc but she is a tough old bat so I am sure that she will be ok.

I will take all bets that I will make 4 hrs or dark whichever comes first. I don't care if Ray and Tyler sit in the truck on the ramp and I have to huddle up in the fetal position under the dash .......I won't be the one to call the trip, UNLESS.....we run out of booze...at which point i will envoke "the empty cooler clause" and we will promptly proceed to a well heated establishment that has a brass pole and a well stocked bar.

    Re: November Fishing (ejmagnum186-tx)

I would prefer to start the day @ the brass pole establishment and finish fishing if we run out of $$$.
Either way I am looking forward to the laughs that you and Ray will provide.
It will be tight on 17.5 foot boat but I'm sure we will talk about it for years to come.
Never a dull moment with the medicine man from Texas.
