Russ and I hit Massaseecum for about 4 hours. We tried a different section of the lake and came up empty for about an hour. We head back to the usually spots and I caught a couple of keepers. Then we hit a patch of dying weeds. This is what we have to show for it.

I figured the water to be about 50-52 degrees and too cold for a frog. Russ brought his and I egged him on to throw it. 3rd cast and it gets a huge chaser. He got chased 3 more times until he finally caught one at another part of the lake. We caught 5 total in the short time we were there but catching a bass on a frog on 10-26-08 in 52 degree water????? Something special about this lake!!!
