WOW!!! I was talking with my partner about that the other day. I was saying, "Frogs are hard enough to stick a largemouth on sometimes... Imagine how impossible/tough it would be to catch a smally?".

That's unbelievable that they could eat that bait like that. Most of my topwater smallies end up hooked in the back, side, outside the mouth because they hit so hard and miss the bait. Those fish really wanted that bait.
