    PV 3/28

Hit up PV in the boat for the 3rd time this year on Sunday. Got out at about 11 and the wind was blowing me all over the lake, making it really hard to detect bites and fish the creek channel like i had planned. The water was also a little more stirred up than usual with protected areas having 3-4 feet of visibility and windblown areas with 1-2 feet. I fished most of the lake and was able to pick up some nice fish although I never really put together any sort of pattern. Caught them scattered throughout the day on spinnerbaits and t-rigged craws. Caught 6 fish with the smallest being around 14", and the rest were extremely healthy fish, all about 3 pounds, best 5 would have gone 14-15 lbs. Talked to a few other guys that were out, only one was having luck throwing jerks on the creek channel break. Never really got a chance to thoroughly fish a jb because me, strong wind, jerkbaits and subtle bites don't get along. Every fish I picked up was relating pretty tightly to cover in 8-12 FOW. Water temp was 44 when i got there, 47.5 when I left. Big improvement over the 38 degree water the weekend before.

    Sounds like some good fishing.
