West Marine & Suzukis

I am about to repower my Stratos 201 Pro Elite, I noticed on the Suzuki website that West Marine is one of their main distributors now. Has anyone bought from and had West Marine do the work? They are like the Walmart of the Marine industry (I use them to install tires…lol). Not a bigger name around, not always a good thing though. Just curious what kind of experience folks had.

Hmm. I haven't dealt with them, but I've dealt with Short's marine here in Delaware (we're the little state next door to you) and Lingo Marine in Millsboro, a family marina. You may also notice Delaware does not charge sales tax, on $25,000 at 6% that's $1500. If you go to Lingo say hi to Dale from George and George.
p.s. they have been known to compete price wise. Money talks.
