Got to take the FGS out for the first time yesterday. Was on more of a flipping/frogging bite (which I’ll never complain about lol). I threw a 1/4 oz weight texas rig dropshot for a but just to get a feel for the rod. Definitely casts more differently than my P5 Addermine. Also has a softer tip than the addermine but gets into the backbone fairly quick. Not sure if that’s because of the extra couple inch difference or something to do with the handle length. Need to get a fish on the other end to get a better idea of how to rod behaves under load. I will say that I was dragging it through a weedline and the rod snapped my bait out of milfoil just fine as I worked it through.
