    Anybody own a PT-185?

I own a 2002 PT-185 with a Mercury 90hp 2 stroke. I want to try a Mercury Spitfire X7 stainless prop and realize I need either the 19” or 21” pitch prop. I have run a Michigan Wheel Rapture 21” 3 blade for years with a Rubex hub.
Does anyone run this same boat and motor with the Spitfire X7? Which pitch and which hub kit do you find is best?
    Thanks,,,

I have 2005 PT 185 my prop since day 1, SS Solas 13 x 21 which is cupped a bit. My boat will run with 2 folks and half tank gas and fairly smooth lake @44-45 GPS trimmed out at just under 5500 RPM. Max for the 90 is 5500 RPM's. Not sure about prop you mentioned.

Well, I guess nobody runs a Spitfire X7 on a 185. I could order both the 19” & 21” and send one back. Was hoping to save the hassle with more information.

Thanks for looking into it further. No, I don’t do Facebook,,never have. So they like the 21”? Interesting. I was leaning toward the 21” also. I tried a Solas aluminum 19” 4 blade and it spins it mighty easy,,over 6000 rpm.

Not sure you want to go pver the max of 5500 RPM's with the merc 2 stroke.
