Been out 3-4 times a week for the last two weeks. Bass bite is still there on Senkos weightless along the weed edges. Have one fish a day that has been going 4-5 lbs. Lots of smaller fish still active. Haven't had much luck on jigs deeper, which suprised me.
The last couple of trips took the ultralight only. Caught my PB bluegill (not counting the good old days at the refuge through the ice). First one to hit the 11" mark in 10 years. Guessed him to be about 12 oz. I was sure it was a 2-3 lb bass at first.
Crappies and bluegill on 1/16 oz jigs and little tubes or beetle spins. Kind of fun getting out for something different.
Going to MN next week for work and got a muskie fishing trip lined up.Guide had a cancellation and was going to fish anyway, so it's gonna cost me a 30 pack of PBR.
